This weekend I finished reading The Yada Yada Prayer Group, by Neta Jackson. I’m not sure how I came across this at the library, and it’s the first in a series. It was good. Kind of Schmaltzy and cheesy, but a good message.
It’s about a group of women from all different backgrounds who meet at a conference and are put together in a prayer group. The group ends up carrying on outside of the conference and becoming friends and being there for each other in all their different situations. It’s kind of a lesson in praying and the overall message is like the parable Jesus told in the bible about the two different men praying, the pharisee and the tax collector (Luke 18).
