This is a recipe I got from Nicki quite a while ago. And being she’s from WI, it’s called a casserole. But in MN, I would consider it a HotDish. It’s Easy and good! I made it last night for the first time in a very very long time. And it’s very good! And easy!
Quick N Easy Casserole
1# hamburger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pkg.(24 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1C sour cream
2C shredded cheddar cheese
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can french fried onions
Preheat oven to 350. Brown hamburger, chopped onion, pepper, and salt. With
slotted spoon, transfer beef to a large bowl. Add hashbrowns, soup, sour
cream, and cheese; mix well. Spread mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 40
minutes. Top with fried onions and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or
until bubbly.
