Well it’s officially 2007.
Already knowing it’s going to be a big year is a little overwhelming, but so exciting too!
We rang in the new year with our friends’, Dan and Angie. They were in town last night. It was a lot of fun. Angie’s friend Kelly had a party, because of the weather attendance was down, but it was still fun. In fact, I may have enjoyed it more, because there were less people.
Of course much of the evening was spent watching the Packers rail over the Bears! That was fun!
Today was a lazy day. Chad and I both slept in. I got up for about an hour watched some TV and ate breakfast, but then went back to bed until about 11:30. Chad watched the Badgers while I went to Menards. When I came back, it was 3rd quarter, so I sat down with him. We watched until about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter, when both of us just konked out. I was in the recliner and he was on the couch. We both woke up about the same time, and had no idea if the Badgers had held on to win. (They did!)
I then made some spaghetti sauce for dinner. A HUGE batch, so that I could freeze a bunch for my sister-in-laws. Tomorrow I am making chili.
That was my day. Tomorrow I have off, because I work for a financial institution and Wall Street is closed for President Ford’s funeral. I have a list of things to do! But right now, I need to head to bed, before my internal clock becomes even more warped before I go back to work on Wednesday!
