I made vanilla ice cream on Sunday when my parents and brother’s family were over. Yummm! And super easy. Makes about 1 quart.
Philadelphia Style Vanilla Ice Cream
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups half-and-half
seeds from a vanilla bean or 1 tbsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup sugar
Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor until sugar dissolves. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to freeze. Pour into the ice cream maker and follow instructions for freezing.
