Please Stop Laughing at Me (A Book)

I picked the book Please Stop Laughing at Me, by Jodee Blanco, at Target before my vacation. It was a quick read. (Although I did have quite a bit of time since my monitor only went so far and Maria was an excellent napper!) It was a memoir, but almost to me seemed just ridiculous how far the bullying went. I’m sure there are extreme cases of bullying through school. I think part of it for me is that since the questions rose from the Oprah book, A Million Little Pieces makes me doubt the depth of some truths in memoirs.

But if this is an accurate account, it’s really scary how far kids can go!  There is a follow-up by the same author, that I’ll probably try to get from the library.
