I just finished reading The View From Mount Joy, by Lorna Landvik (who also wrote Patty Jane’s House of Curl, which I apparently read more than 3 years ago, since it’s not on my blog!) She is a native Minnesotan, and her books often take place in or around Minneapolis. And I think it’s fun to be able to picture the different areas she talks about.

It was a good book (in case you didn’t realize I just posted about another book less than a week ago!). The plot didn’t blow me out of the water, but the characters were interesting and it was a light and quick read!  I will probably definitely read more of her books in the future!
