Check me out! I’m a reading machine! I just finished Gods Behaving Badly, by Marie Phillips. I was not excited for this book, but it is for book club this Friday. So I forced myself to the library last week to pick it up.  I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was light and quick and clever!

The story is based on several Gods and Goddesses from Greek Mythology who are living in present day among mortals. The plot is based around their involvement with two mortals who become caught up in the crossfire of some of their relationships.  It left me wishing I had paid more attention in my high school Myth and Religion class! Although that being said, there is enough background in the book to enjoy and understand the characters!  I would really recommend this to anyone looking for a fun (but different) read!
