The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Good book. It was a bit of a slow start, but I think that is was because I was not in the mood for historical (war) fiction. But once I was into it, I couldn’t put it down. Loved the characters in it. Mostly because they were good people with sound character living in Germany during WWII.
I definitely recommend this one. Just know the style and perspective of the book is different and may throw you off initially, but also part of what I loved about it.
NOT EVEN KIDDING. I just finished this book yesterday. This is one where I mourn the loss of the characters just because I finished the book!
Just saw your comment on scrap booking. I am excited for you to try digital. I was a Creative Memory/paper crafter for YEARS. When I discovered digital, I was hooked. It’s so fast and cost effective. I still do paper now and then just for creativity sake, but I think you will LOVE digital.
Christina, that is crazy! I did love the characters too! And I loved how I didn’t necessarily love them at the beginning, but they sucked me in!
