My reading pace slowed in February, but this book got me reading again. I really enjoyed it.

Wonder by R.J. Palacio

Wonder is a great book. The story of Auggie, a 5th grade boy who was born with birth defects affecting his face. A face that multiple plastic surgeries cannot correct.

It’s the story of navigating friendships as he starts middle school and how he wins over friends. I really enjoyed how different parts of the book were told through the different perspectives of Auggie, his sister and their friends.

Very well written and a quick read!
