Still Alice by Lisa Genova
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book pulled me in from the beginning. I have to say I really enjoyed it! The story is of Alice, a Harvard professor, who discovers she has early onset Alzheimer’s. And how she and her family cope with it. It takes her through the different stages of the disease and is written from Alice’s perspective.
The only downside is that I read this during a stressful week where I had a lot going on and every time I couldn’t remember the exact word I wanted to use, I started wondering if I had Alzheimer’s… I’m feeling this week that I don’t. It must have been stress!
