I am on a roll with reading good books. I picked this one because it was the Target book club choice this month. And it was good! The story of Starla who runs away to find her momma. She hitches a ride from a black woman named Eula who promises to get her to her momma. Their journey is not easy through the south with civil rights being on the fore front of everyone’s minds. And Starla and Eula’s lives will never be the same.
